During these current times, the immune system has been mentioned quite often. A study done in April 2020* stated that balanced nutrition along with vitamin supplements and probiotics help to keep your immune system healthy for disease prevention and treatment. The authors state. "This comprehensive review reports evidence on several vitamins, particularly A, D and E, as well as a few trace elements. such as Zinc, and Selenium. Furthermore, a large number of nutraceuticals and probiotics have also shown immune-enhancing effects for either preventing or treating viral infections, especially influenza like illnesses."
What exactly is the immune system? The immune system is a complex network in our body, which works together to protect the body from infections. "The gastrointestinal system plays a central role in the immune system" because this is the area where numerous encounters with antigens or infections occur. It is estimated that 70% of our immune system is located in our digestive tract.
So keeping our intestinal tract healthy plays a big role in keeping us healthy. That's where a new product I have found helps, as the key ingredients are Lactobaccilus plantarum (HEALS) and Lactobacillus paracasei (8700.2)
Lactobacillus plantarum (HEALS) and Lactobacillus paracasei (8700.2) are both probiotics- live micro-organisms, which have been proven to counteract infections and reduce the severity and duration of colds and flus.
According to our Wellness Guide, probiotics work to counteract bad or harmful bacteria...and are critical to good health. A double blind ** study proved that these two probiotics strengthened the body against viral infections. While another study showed that taking supplements with included (HEALS) and (8700.2) reduced the severity of respiratory tract infections.
This new product not only contains these two powerful probiotics but also includes vitamin E and Zinc. Both of which have been proven to help boost the immune system.
Zinc has been used and studied for the past 40 years. It has shown through various studies to help increase the immune system, decrease oxidative stress in the body, and reduce inflammation and free radicals that lower the body's ability to fight infections. Zinc is also crucial to the normal development and function of cells.
Vitamin E is the potent antioxidant that has the ability to enhance immune functions. Several studies report that vitamin E offers improved resistance to various infectious diseases and increase antibody responses.
So when these four key ingredients are put together, you can be guaranteed that your immune system has all it needs to fight whatever viral infections come your way.
Feel free to reach out to hear more about this fantastic product. I'd love to chat with you.
